塑料遮阳网又叫遮阳网、遮阴网、遮光网、寒冷纱或凉爽纱。其产品主要是用聚烯烃树脂作原料，并加入防老化剂和各种色料，溶化后经拉丝编织成的一种轻量化、高强度、耐老化的新型网状农用塑料覆盖材料。遮阳网的颜色有黑色、银灰色、白色、浅绿色、蓝色、黄色及黑色与银灰色相间等等。生产上应用较多的是银灰色网和黑色网。
